Maya Williams is the Communications Associate for Strategic Communications within the What Works Cities initiative at Results for America. Before RFA, Maya worked at the U.S. Department of Commerce, where she wrote about Internet access and other telecommunications issues across the United States. Maya is passionate about telling accurate and accessible stories that help residents understand how public policies impact their daily lives.  She previously worked at the White House Office of Cabinet Affairs as well as with various peacebuilding nonprofits and institutions prior to her federal government experience.

Maya holds a B.A. in Government from Georgetown University and an M.T.S. in Religion, Ethics, and Politics from Harvard Divinity School.
